Brittney has spent over 15 years working with local social justice nonprofits, working to disrupt how organizations approach operations, finance, human resources, and culture. She focuses on the people and values of the organization and lets that drive the need for policies and process. Brittney grew up in Northern Kentucky and received her associates degree in communications from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and a bachelors degree from Thomas More University.
Brittney would not have found her voice without the support of those outside of her home, her family. Her papa poured into her as a child and gave her the confidence to question everything and not to accept the status quo. In high school a teacher, Mrs. Jennings, pulled Brittney out of her shell and helped her find her place in community work and advocacy. Their influence can be seen today, where you will find Brittney advocating for her local community, reproductive justice, more women and people of color in politics.
Outside of Found Village, you can find Brittney walking her dog Winston, out and about with her nibblings, or debating what is the best summertime desserts.
