Iloba Nzekwu

Co-Executive Director

Iloba has a Master of Science in Economics from Miami University and a Bachelor of Economics degree from Marshall University. Before joining Found Village full-time in 2019, Iloba worked as a business strategy consultant and data scientist for 11 years for home healthcare companies including Mercy Health and CareCentra.

Iloba’ s extensive business strategy experience in the healthcare field allows him to oversee Found Village’s finances and operations as well as create a vision and a plan for executing Found Village’s relationship based model of care to serve the most at- risk teens in the city. Iloba brings his passion for the city, belief in young people, and business knowledge to his role. Iloba has chaired the Young Professional Board for The Children’s Home of Cincinnati, is a member of United Way’s Family-Centered Learning cohort, has led the middle school ministry team at his local church, and volunteered his time as Co-Founder of Found Village (until joining full-time in March 2019).

In addition to his operations management responsibilities, he provides oversight to the “Journey Team” (youth on their journey to stability), liaising closely with the staff navigator and coaches. Iloba is also leading Found Village’s efforts to build an advocacy and participatory defense system for the system-involved youth and young adults in Hamilton County.

Iloba goes beyond managing operations as he intentionally builds relationships with the youth. He is often offering a fatherly perspective on life that many of the youth lack access to. Together, they won’t stop until every young person is connected with an audacious and intentional community of relational resources. Katie and Iloba, along with those like-minded folks that have joined along the way, absolutely love empowering these amazing kids to discover their own self-worth and the power of relationship. And they have a lot of fun while doing so.
