Katie grew up in Cincinnati and continued her education at the University of Cincinnati, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her last 7 years were spent enjoying empowering youth at Best Point where she was a Behavior Support Specialist, and an award-winning practitioner for the Teaching Family model. As a Behavior Support Specialist, she was able to help students achieve behavior goals by providing emotional support in a safe environment. Katie’s passion for guiding and supporting young people stems from an early age, when she realized how important it is to have a supportive adult in one’s corner. Most of her life she has been involved in sports, playing soccer, volleyball, and basketball. This is where she was able to find her Village of people. Sports continue to be a part of her life, whether she is supporting her nephew, or cheering on our Cincinnati teams.
