Mishon Reed

Coach

Mishon continues to live by the quote, “You might know my name, but you don’t know my story.” From a young age, she knew she wanted to use her “social personality” to help others, though she wasn’t sure exactly where that journey would take her. Like many young people, she also struggled with her own mental health challenges starting in her early high school years. However, with the support of her community, she refused to let those dark times overshadow the light “God placed inside me."

As a young adult, Mishon graduated from “THEEE North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University!” #AGGIEPRIDE, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work. She later furthered her education at the University of Cincinnati, receiving her MSW. Before founding Found Village, she worked for Children Services, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati, interned at Best Point, and studied abroad in Costa Rica.

She continues to advocate for future generations. “I want to be a voice for those who feel they don’t have one, until they are able to scream for victory.” Mishon is beyond grateful to have found Found Village, because not only did she choose them, but the village chose her as well.
